Chapter 3.2 Nereus stood on the highest balcony of the palace, accessible only through flight, overlooking his city. With every year that passed, it became more difficult for the old dragon to make that flight. Despite the many decades spent in this desert, he would never be able to quit the shivering that followed sunset. He was always fascinated by such a place: one that could melt life away by day and freeze the blood by night. Two extremes coexisted in one environment, with no median. Balance is the key to life, Nereus always believed, but here, the desert, told a different story. He could ambivalently believe two very different things about the deseChapter 3.2 by ~Shinjuiro
Chapter 3.1 Part III

Thylacos' muscles ached; his wing felt heavy and leaden with its painful wound. His dark eyes stole a glance towards Itzcoatl, watching her fight to stay aloft. It was imperative that they find a resting place, lest their strength fail them. With his head pounding and his wing throbbing, Thylacos had no idea how much distance they had covered since leaving the desolate city. His eyes desperately wanted to squint close when he directed them back in front, towards the rush of oncoming winds and the harsh daylight. A blur of green in his peripheral told him that Freyus was still with them, probably holding up much better than he andChapter 3.1 by ~Shinjuiro
Part One: Attack Part I-Attack

Pale ochre eyes began to glow softly as the black and gray body seemingly vanished from sight. Volare stood as rigid as the surrounding trees while he guided the winds around him, all but making him invisible in the shadows of the forest. He dared not even allow his heart to beat as his pursuers drew close enough to smell the death on their bloodthirsty breath. The Zeytilli focused his mind only on keeping the camouflage active, for if it were to slip, he feared that not even with the winds at his back could he escape that terrible fate.

Part Two: Origins Part II
 
With labored effort, Itzcoatl followed Thylacos up into the air, circling the mountain. She refused to let her pain become visible. "Pain is only in the mind," her mentors had all said.
"Look there!" shouted Thylacos, pointing a claw towards the earth as he angled his wings into a descent.
Itzcoatl followed him, the burning in her wing exacerbated with a difficult landing. In front of them lay a pile of bleached white bones, brilliant in the morning sun. Thylacos was staring with a fierce intensity that Itzcoatl did not understand until she, too, took a closer look. Getting the ball rolling

:iconaki--tenraku::iconsaysplz:Hey everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say happy new years. I know that this group has not been very active since the contest but hopefully we can get the ball rolling here soon :) This past few months I have worked on anatomy and concepts for Zeytilli and after a few variations I think I finally found a simple design that seems to work well. You can see it in the upcoming piece that will feature all 9 Zeytilli drawn on a beautiful full color background.

Also me and =Verlidaine are talking about starting a short graphic novel featuring ~Shinjuiro's Zeytilli Story. We hope to start this project in the summer. Until then we will be developing Character Designs so keep your eyes out for upcoming information, events and chances to make you own Zeytilli!

They are! xD We have ideas like raffles, contests, even things like if aki or I get to know a person they can create one =p Or if we just need more Zeytillis in their world~

I was wondering when the winners were going to be annouced? It feels like months since the contsest ended. I hope I dont sound rude at all, I'm just anxious to hear who's won. Anyway, I hope you guys annouce the winners soon. The club kind of seems like it's dying out. :(
